There's nothing like spending time with the people you care about the most. The moments with family is a boost of energy that motivates me to be a better person. Family is one of the main things I live for. Through thick or thin, wrong or right, I will always put them first.
This past weekend from July 27-29, 2018, we took a family road trip to La Porte Texas,( Like a few miles away from Houston Texas and Galveston Texas.) While in La Porte we visited Kemah Theme Park as well as Sylvan Beach. The stay was well needed. At the beach we were able to see the edge of the ocean and build sand pyramids on the beach. It was satisfying to see all the kids and adults put their worries to the side and be present in the moment.
The trip was for my big sister's 34th birthday. It was my mom and dad, (Anna and Lockridge) My sister and brothers, (Katrina, Dianne, Lockridge Jr., and Johnny) then it was my nephews and niece, (Kamryn, John John, Carter, and Kennedy and KJ) We had a full house. It was rough trying to sleep with 3 kids in the bed at the same time, but we had some very unforgettable moments.
It has been a minute since I've added a blog to my website, but this sparked the inspiration for me to create some updates. Stay tuned to see more upcoming events and artwork from me. The year is flying by and I just want to continue practicing and producing content that I feel people will enjoy. Peace and Light.
